Yangkou Scenic Spot

Yangkou sightseeing spot is in the northeastern part of Laoshan scenic area. Facing the blue Yellow Sea with ripples and backed by the blessing and fairy mountain peaks, the landscape is mainly compose of fairy mountains, blessing temples, bays and beaches. 

Steep ridges and peaks one after another, fairy stones being rugged and Taiping Palace hidden in the green bamboo and pine trees are the main characteristics of the landscape. Wide, flat beach, fined sands and clean blue sea water all make it an ideal sea bathing place.

This is also a good place for viewing sun rising. People on the top of the Lion Peak are able to enjoy the marvelous spectacle of viewing rising sun just like to take the sun home as a guest and are able to enjoy the clouds hung on the top of the peak at the foot of the peak. By taking the cable conveyer in Yangkou, the tourists can enjoy majesty of the huge letter “Shou(long life)” engraved on the stone and the vast spectacle of the sea and sky melted in the same color.
